SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

God created me to be great,

therefore I Am great. 

I welcome abundance and ease into my life.

This is my era of experiencing life at its fullest.

When I inhale,

I stretch my belly out past my belt,

guide breath through every locked crevice,

knock off cobwebs of lies we told.

Now that we old, we can begin to be free.

Liberation welcomes me with the warmest hug

scented with collard greens, egusi, and pounded yam.

You don’t have to understand me.

God knows who I am.
